We are a 3 generation family business established in 1968 by Robert and Nancy Ahrens and succeeded by their daughter Catherine and grandson Daniel. Honesty is very important to us and we believe in providing straight forward assessments of what our customers require to achieve their goals of better hearing. We aspire to be your “trusted source”, just like a good physician who doesn’t order unnecessary tests or mechanic who doesn’t push you to make unnecessary repairs. We pledge to give you no nonsense information so you can make an informed decision. Our personalities do not allow us to be high pressure, but they do allow us to excel at what we do. If we sound like the type of business you like to deal with, we would be honored to begin a mutually beneficial relationship ending with an improved quality of life for you delivered in a fashion you feel comfortable with. We recently invested in new equipment here at our office to help us provide the very best service and outcomes for our patients. This equipment now adds the following abilities to our full suite of professional, "get it done right" services:

- Test your hearing device in a calibrated test chamber, giving us actual performance numbers to ensure it is working as designed. Has your hearing changed, or is the device not working properly? No guessing games here!

- Perform the new ACT (Audible Contrast Test) designed to quantify your ability to hear in noise, which will further help us with hearing aid selection and counseling throughout the fitting process.
