HomeCare Therapeutics is proud to share Nakisha Cossogue, MS. OTR/L achievement in presenting at the AOTA INSPIRE 2026, Annual Conference held in Anaheim, CA. She has been a dedicated member of our team for over three years.

Her presentation, “An OT Approach to Staff Well-Being and Effectiveness in Group Homes for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities,” highlights important work being done to address challenges in group home settings.

Through occupational therapy strategies—such as task analysis, graded support, environmental modification, and caregiver training—Nakisha demonstrated how supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) can significantly enhance resident participation in daily routines and overall quality of care.

We’re excited to see her contributing to meaningful change and advancing best practices in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
