🕊️ Join Our Grief Support Group - You Are Not Alone 🕊️

At Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, we understand the healing journey after loss and are here to support you every step of the way. It's essential to recognize that the stages of grief are not linear but rather cycles that people handle differently. It's okay to experience a range of emotions and take the time needed to heal.

Navigating grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. Our Grief Support Group meets on the second Friday of each month and offers a safe, compassionate space to share stories, connect with others who understand, and find comfort in knowing you're not alone. Whether you’ve recently experienced a loss or are further along in your healing, we invite you to join us.

🗓 Next Meeting: Friday, February 13th
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
📍 Location: 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks
🗓 Recurring: Every 2nd Friday of the month

This monthly gathering is open to anyone who has lost a loved one, and there is no cost to attend. Whether you're seeking peace, comfort, a place to be heard, or a quiet moment to reflect, this group is here to support you on your journey, and we welcome you to join us as we honor our loved ones together.

All are welcome; no RSVP needed 💚

For questions or more information, please call 916-969-1251.

Sacramento-Area Funeral Home

Since our founding in 1965 by Foy Bryant, Mount Vernon Mortuary has served Greater Sacramento-area families. Through the decades our services have evolved but our commitment to exceptional service has never changed. Our funeral home includes a crematory with a witnessing room.

Mount Vernon Mortuary has two chapels. The main chapel, Chapel of the Valley, is a traditional space with pews that seat approximately 250 guests. This non-denominational space features an exquisite ribbed vaulted ceiling and two large golden chandeliers. Natural light floods in during daytime services. The more intimate Family Chapel can accommodate 50 guests and is located on the first floor of the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life

All of the funeral services held at Mount Vernon Mortuary are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual and assist families through one of the most personal and challenging stages of life.
