Remember the Fallen • Honor those who Serve • Teach our children the value of Freedom

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 13, at 9:00 AM, we will gather at Mount Vernon Memorial Park to pay tribute to our veterans. After the ceremony, we’ll lay wreaths and say each hero’s name aloud, ensuring their legacy continues to live.

Each wreath is a symbol of gratitude. Each name spoken is an act of remembrance.

✨ How You Can Help:
• Sponsor a wreath: Help us honor as many veterans as possible.
• Volunteer: Join us in laying wreaths and standing with our community in remembrance.
• Spread the word: Invite family, friends, neighbors, and local groups.

Sacramento-Area Funeral Home

Since our founding in 1965 by Foy Bryant, Mount Vernon Mortuary has served Greater Sacramento-area families. Through the decades our services have evolved but our commitment to exceptional service has never changed. Our funeral home includes a crematory with a witnessing room.

Mount Vernon Mortuary has two chapels. The main chapel, Chapel of the Valley, is a traditional space with pews that seat approximately 250 guests. This non-denominational space features an exquisite ribbed vaulted ceiling and two large golden chandeliers. Natural light floods in during daytime services. The more intimate Family Chapel can accommodate 50 guests and is located on the first floor of the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life

All of the funeral services held at Mount Vernon Mortuary are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual and assist families through one of the most personal and challenging stages of life.
