April 16 2026: Rebekah Capen, Oncology social worker at the Cancer Center will be here to discuss navigation support. She will include body image, physical and emotional changes, and survivorship supports. She encourages you to bring any ideas about gaps in service that she can fill.

May 21 2026: ***We are excited to have Dr. Amy Loschert, ND FABNO coming up from Anchorage. She is the director of integrative and supportive Oncology Services at Anchorage Radiation Oncology Center. How does naturopathic medicine contribute to cancer treatment during and after?

There is no meeting on Thursday, June 18th 2026! We will walk the first lap together on Friday evening, June 5 with Relay for Life. You can sign up online if you want to donate or have other people who want to donate. More info will be posted.

For the month of April only, the meeting date is changed to the third Tuesday at 7:15. We will be meeting at Heartstream Yoga studio, 3677 College Road. College mall corner of Univ and College Rd

April 15: Tuesday (before the 3rd Thursday) 7:15pm. Meditation and breathing techniques lead by Gabe Witte. This meeting will be at Heartstream Yoga in college mall.

May 15: Thursday Leslie Shallcross instructor for StrongPeople at the Cooperative Extension Fairbanks: the importance of weight training to keep your bones and body healthy. Meeting at Cancer Center 7:00

Amazing Relay for Life turn out. This is the survivor lap. Dragonflies had the largest group represented in the event and raised the most money! Next meeting for the support group is at the Cancer Center July 18, 7pm. Sifu David Adams will present T'ai Chi. See you there!
