Continuing Hope Counseling provides services to meet a wide range of psychological, mental health, a

Mental health services include comprehensive psychological evaluations; forensic evaluations; diagnostic assessment and psychological testing; individual, couples, and family therapy; group therapy; as well as children's play therapy and substance abuse services. Our clinicians work with a range of individuals ages 3+ from interior and rural Alaska communities through in-person and telehealth services. Our highly qualified clinical staff is able to work with a range of problems through psychotherapy and psychological assessment. All of our clinicians offering the highest quality of services to help clients cope with problems, improve functioning, and remain emotional health and quality of life.

Continuing Hope Counseling, LLC is excited to welcome two new providers to our team.

Robert Hall, MS, MS and Jenelle Tuoti, MS are both working toward professional licensure in Alaska. They are currently accepting referrals for children, adults, individuals, and families for in-person and telehealth sessions under our Client Assistant Program.

Robert is trained in CPT, TF-CBT, and is currently being trained in EMDR. He is a military veteran and comes to CHC following a career as a first responder. Robert has experience working with young adults, phase of life issues, and trauma and stressor related disorders.

Jenelle is trained in TF-CBT, WET, and is currently being trained in EMDR. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of trauma and stressor related disorders, substance use disorders, and behavioral difficulties in children, teens, and adults including work with individuals with problematic sexual behavior. She also comes to CHC following a career as a first responder.

CHC also offers a Client Assistance Program (CAP) that provides mental health and psychological assessment services to individuals on a sliding scale that is based on household income. This program is open to anyone who may be uninsured or underinsured.

We are excited to announce Laura Powell as a new member to the Continuing Hope Counseling, LLC team! Laura has concluded her coursework with Liberty University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and is joining CHC for her internship. Laura has extensive experience working with youth and their families in both residential and outpatient formats. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a major in counseling from Liberty University. Post graduation, Laura will be pursuing her Professional Counselor license. Laura is currently accepting referrals for youth and families under the supervision of Dr. Kylie Gore-Hall.

Continuing Hope Counseling would like to introduce and welcome Danah Angelo, LCSW to our team! Danah is a nationally certified advanced child, youth, and family social worker through the National Association of Social Workers. She brings a wealth of experience as a child protection advocate and has previously worked as a child protection investigator and court appointed Guardian Ad Litem. She enjoys working with children, adults, and families and has advanced education and training in domestic violence and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Danah utilizes a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychoeducation, and trauma-informed approaches to assist her clients in reaching their desired therapeutic goals. Danah has experience in working with high conflict divorce and child custody cases, as well as Child In Need of Aid (CINA) cases. She is accepting new clients through Continuing Hope counseling and accepts Aetna, BCBS and self-pay and will be in-network with Tricare and VA shortly. Welcome Danah!

Continuing Hope Counseling LLC would like to introduce and welcome our newest provider! Sarah Jensen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has several years of experience in the Fairbanks community. She works with adults on a variety of issues including life transitions; perinatal mental health; anxiety; depression; identity, relational, and occupational concerns; self esteem; and stress. Sarah is in the process of completing her certification in Perinatal Mental Health and looks forward to providing more specialized care to the pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum community in interior Alaska. She is currently accepting new clients.

Continuing Hope Counseling is excited to welcome Emily Matthew, LCSW to our team! Emily has several years of experience working with children and families within Alaska and across the country. She specializes in child play therapy and treatment of anxiety, depression, and trauma. She is working toward becoming a registered play therapist. Emily is currently accepting new clients beginning July 1st.
