Except in the case of emergencies, it is not our policy to see patients without an appointment. Our schedule is often filled well in advance, and we do everything we can to assist you if delays or postponements occur. If you leave us a business or home phone number on the day of your appointment, we can call you so that you might adjust your schedule accordingly. Often Dr. Wade is called out of th

e office, or some patients require extra clinic time for their serious injuries. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us as we do the best we can in managing our time constraints. If your time is short, we encourage you to call ahead and check our clinic schedule time. For patients whose injury is work related, you must provide the clinic with an authorization letter from your employer or agent. Please include a claim or case number, contact agent and their phone number, and appropriate billing address.

If you miss seeing Emily’s face around the clinic, you are not alone. Lucky for us, she is remotely still an integral part of our team! Emily has been a nurse for 11 years, and she has spent 8 of those years in orthopedics. If our clinical team has a question, Emily has the answer, and we appreciate her constant support from afar. When she’s not working behind the scenes for us, Emily spends her days with her three beloved Beagles, often gracing our group chat with much-appreciated pup pics.

Vanessa is our Clinical Supervisor and an MA. She specializes in case management, patient education, and post-operative care. Vanessa is constantly working to maintain our clinic flow and ensure we are prepped, organized, and set up for success. She takes great pride in keeping our team up to date on the latest surgical and sterile field protocols and education. In total, Vanessa has been in the medical field for 17 years, including time spent as a surgical tech and in Fire/EMS. Her experience and knowledge have helped our clinic evolve, and we are grateful for her dedication to our patients and our office.

Everyone say hello to Emily! She is part of our reception team and hangs out with Sandy at our front desk. Emily is our referral specialist, and she recently took over coordinating our social media. If you’ve ever been referred to us, Emily most likely helped you schedule an appointment. She’s been a part of our team for almost four years and is a valuable asset. Emily moved to Fairbanks from Idaho shortly before starting at our clinic, and she considers our team to be her “Alaskan family” and is grateful to have found her home away from home with us. She is a delight around the office, and we appreciate her outgoing and welcoming personality!
