We have a new massage therapist on staff! Meet Anna! Anna will be here Monday and Thursday Afternoons and Tuesday mornings into the early afternoon.

My name is Anna Jenkins. I’ve been a massage therapist for 3.5 years, and love getting to serve the community by making clients feel more like themselves! I use relaxing techniques to bring the clients into a transcendental mind state, then using deep pressure I target any areas of discomfort. I look forward to my time at Fairbanks Chiropractic Clinic, sharing my gift with this beautiful state!

Dr. Heather here! I have spoken to many of my patients recently about my experience with having a tongue tie. I have been seeing Katie Bellant at Midnight Sun Myofunctional Therapy for some time now and she was able to diagnosis and better prepare me for the procedure to have it revised. Many children are diagnosed with lip or tongue ties early on in life as they can cause feeding issues. What many aren’t aware of, is leaving these ties unresolved can lead to much larger issues later on in life such as speech difficulties, swallowing problems, oral health issues, and more. I personally have felt symptoms such as reflux, a sensation of a lump in my throat, and tension throughout my body. I just had my tongue tie revision done with Dr. Van Leeuwen at Alaska Oral & Facial Surgery last week and I cannot say enough positive things about the level of care I received. The procedure was quick and painless and I have already felt such a difference in my breathing and throughout my body.
