Thank you for your patience while we’ve been slowly moving to closeup the business end of my practice. My surgery date is finally approaching, and I will be on the mend soon. I’ve taken these last few months to discuss part-time opportunities and I’m very happy to announce that I will be working with Dr. Pierce at Goldstar Clinics! Starting August 1st, I will be providing Gynecological and General Medicine services at both Goldstar locations. If you would like to see me, please call Goldstar to make your appointment at 907-457-9420. Your medical records will be following me, but the custodianship will be transferred to Goldstar c/o Dr. Pierce. As is usual and necessary when record custodianship transfers, there will be a nominal fee to get a copy of your records. Thank you again for many wonderful years as your OB GYN. I hope to see you again!

All final patient statements have been mailed. If you have a balance, please pay at our website www.drlawrason.com before 5/1/26. Any accounts with remaining balances after 4/30/26 will be forwarded to Cornerstone, and payment should be made directly to Cornerstone by calling 1-877-375-8100.

Dr. Peter Lawrason is a graduate of Duke University Medical School. He is a board certified OBGYN and is a diplomat to the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM DR LAWRASON:
I am very sad to report that I will be closing my practice on 12/20/25. I’ve developed a painful arthritic hip and will need surgery. I will continue to see patients until 12/17/25 and our business office will remain operational for some time, as necessary. Any correspondence between the business office and patients can be made by reaching out to us at office@drlawrason.com. It’s possible I may work part-time out of another medical office when I have recovered, but I will no longer be doing hospital work (i.e. deliveries & surgeries). If I do return to part-time work, I will let you know!

This has been a very difficult decision, especially on such short notice. It’s been a great and fulfilling 37 years of getting to know each one of you and delivering your babies—many of which are now grown and making families of their own! I’ll miss all of you. Best to you all and thank you for all the wonderful years together.
