Appointments available now for individuals who meet the following qualifications:

Do you provide daily care to an elderly family member? If so, you are considered a home health aide and are eligible to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
For more information about eligibility and finding a vaccine provider, please visit covidvax.alaska.gov.
Here's the detailed language from the State of Alaska website that was recently clarified: "Workers in health care settings can include someone who stays home to care for an elderly family member. Eligible individuals provide daily support related to an individual’s activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, eating) as well as instrumental activities of daily living (i.e. shopping, laundry, light housework). These may be paid, unpaid, or contracted positions. This may also include teachers or other school staff that provide health care activities for students including tube feedings, suctioning, and other hands on healthcare."

We are still making appointments for 65+ as well as healthcare workers.

Please call us at 452-4768 to schedule an appointment or email getvaccinated@fairbankscancercare.com
