Great reference for car safety and children.

Kids grow fast, and so do their car seat needs! During , take time to check that your child is in the right seat for their age, height, and weight.
✅ Rear-facing: Birth–3 years
✅ Forward-facing: 1–7 years
✅ Booster: 4–12 years
✅ Seatbelt: 8+ years
👉 Always follow your car seat manufacturer’s height and weight limits. Children should only move up when they outgrow their current seat.

Keeping kids safe on Alaska’s roads starts with the right seat at the right time. 🛑🦌

Career day at FCM is tomorrow! This is a fun event for the whole family.

Tomorrow is CAREER DAY, sponsored by Interior Alaska NAPA AutoCare Centers! From 11am to 2pm, we'll be at Pioneer Park with free kids' lunch, activities, and a long list of amazing people who have important jobs in our community!

Because of this event, the museum will stay closed tomorrow (Saturday, August 23).

They have a variety of services and an amazing staff that is prepared to help families navigate the landscape of resources, paperwork, programs and assistance, ensuring we all have the tools we need to thrive.
