It’s Poetry & Yoga time again!✨✨✨

In our poetry encounter, we’ll walk gently and gradually through one poem, lingering line by line with questions the poem is asking, holding them in a time of quiet meditation or journaling.

With two opportunities for small group shares, this practice honors solitude with space for chosen community. Expect an hour of guided reflection to lead you in and back out with grace.

In our April session, we’ll consider the Japanese concept of wabi sabi. Art historian Anne Walther writes, “the idea of wabi sabi can be understood as an appreciation of a beauty that is doomed to disappear, or even a ephemeral contemplation of something that becomes more beautiful as it ages, fades, and consequently acquires a new charm.” We’ll make space for the things in us that notice what is bittersweet or gently melancholy, especially amid tender graces.

Once we have been guided through the poetry experience, Jade will welcome you into an hour and a half yin yoga practice continuing to explore the idea of wabi sabi in the body. This is where we practice acceptance, simplicity, and impermanence. This allows the nervous system to settle and come into deep stillness while being supported by props. This practice is open to all.

This gives you time to incorporate the ideas you’ve been sitting with from the first half of class. This can be deeply restorative for your nervous system, as well as your musculature and fascial chain, letting excess tension and stress melt from your body and mind while inviting an appreciation for things as they are.

Join (from Boulder, CO), founder of Earth Ways Yoga, for a 2-hour Earth Ways Yoga Circle exploring the teachings of the Universal Circle through the honoring of the 7 Directions. There will be two opportunities to join - each class will be different in practice. You can join one or both for the full experience! ✨

Part 1- Earth Ways Yoga Circle: Spring’s Awakening

What are the 7 Directions?
Here is a list to get an idea of what they signify.

1. East - New beginnings, spring, clarity, vision
2. South - Growth, summer, trust, emotional energy
3. West - Reflection, release, autumn, transformation
4. North - Wisdom, rest, winter, integration, ancestors
5. Above (Sky) - Spirit, guidance, higher perspective
6. Below (Mother Earth) - Grounding, support, nourishment
7. All of the Relations

Together in community, we’ll welcome spring and clarify your direction forward.
In this circle, you’ll reflect on the lessons and insights gathered during winter (the North) and begin to work with the clarity and renewed energy that comes with spring (the East).

We’ll gather to set meaningful intentions for this season of growth, rising into a new alignment and planting practical seeds for the months ahead. Spring is a powerful turning point in our yearly cycle, inviting us to step out of hibernation and move forward with creativity and purpose.

During our time together, we will:
Honor the 7 Directions, Practice guided meditation, including gentle Chakra clearing and grounding, Connect with the elements in the body, and Reflect and vision your path for 2026.

You might appreciate bringing a journal along with you to jot down any ideas or revelations that come up for you during our time together.

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction and a grounded plan for moving into this next season.

Join us for a special Sampler Class Event designed to give you a true taste of everything we offer! This free experience brings together most of our amazing instructors, giving you the opportunity to experience a wide variety of teaching styles and class formats all in one place.

You’ll be able to explore different classes throughout the event, pick and choose which parts you’d like to participate in, move at your own pace, and take a pause whenever you need. Whether you’re trying something new or reconnecting with a favorite style, this event is all about discovering what feels right for you.

To make the day even more special, a photographer, Ariel Traxler, will be there to capture the meaningful moments, so you can look back and celebrate the experience with our community. We are so grateful that she is offering this opportunity to us.

A huge thank you to for holding space for us all to sit with the ideas of trauma-informed yoga, ana to just let us be in our bodies and mindful of what is happening in our bodies.
I felt so grounded after this class. We had such a safe & vulnerable journey in sharing about our own experiences and feelings.
There was a major connection between this group that created a sense of relating and removed that sense of feeling alone.
This painting was given to me during the class and it speaks so much regarding our trauma, in my opinion. You can have your own contemplation and sense of what this piece means to you. The bleeding heart really struck me. It reminded me of being amidst the chaos but what beauty can come of this world when we express ourselves and let the chaos out. Thank you to every one of you who bravely showed up.
We hope to do this again in the future.
