Squid Sponsor Spotlight: A huge thanks to Dr. Cross and the crew at the Integrative Pain Center of Alaska for sponsoring team Squid again this season! You wouldn't know it now, but Paige had a herniated disc in her back about 15 years ago and Dr. Cross helped Paige with her pain management prior to surgery. They have been sponsoring us for several years now and we really appreciate their support!

We are looking for a nurse to join our team.

Our nurse is moving away and we are looking for a new nurse! The position would be 3-4 days a week to monitor pain procedures and some other duties. Come and join our fun and motivated team.
Requirements: has to have a current RN license. Be able to work on Tuesday’s, Wednesday's, Thursday's or Monday's. Days other than Tueadays can be flexible.
Be confident in administering medication, monitoring vital signs, IV placement, making sure the patient is ready for a procedure and ordering medication. This is a part time position.

Hours are between M-Thur. 8:00-4:30 and can be flexible.

Dr. Cross and the staff are big supporters of mushing in Alaska and we are super thankful for their help in purchase of booties for the race teams. About 12 years ago, Paige had a slipped disc in her back and she saw Dr. Cross for pain relief shots.
