Most people don’t have a sleep problem.
They have a nervous system that forgot how to turn off.

You don’t need another pill.
You need a reset.

I just dropped a guided Qigong sleep session designed to help your body remember how to rest using slow breathing, body scan, and deep grounding.

No effort. No overthinking. Just lie there and let it work.

If you’ve been “tired but wired”… this is for you.

🎧 Try it tonight and tell me how you feel in the morning.

Sometimes when people hear “teaching,” they picture kids.

But teaching Tai Chi and Qigong is really about something bigger than age.

It’s about learning how to guide people,
adults navigating stress,
older adults wanting balance and confidence,
patients rebuilding strength,
communities looking for connection,
and yes, sometimes even younger students learning how to slow down in a fast world.

Instructor training isn’t about becoming a performer at the front of a room.

It’s about developing the skill to meet different bodies, different nervous systems, and different life experiences with presence and clarity.

That’s the real work.

Our instructor program focuses on how to teach safely, responsibly, and in a way that adapts to the population in front of you — not a one-size-fits-all routine.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to go deeper in your practice and eventually share it, this is the kind of foundation that makes that possible.

Not for everyone.
But very meaningful for the right people.

Feeling the weight of the world lately? You’re not alone.

When headlines are constant and tension feels high, it’s easy for our nervous systems to stay stuck in stress mode. But calm isn’t something we wait for the world to give us — it’s something we can train.

In the newest episode of The My Metro Medicine Podcast, I talk about how Tai Chi and Qigong help us stay steady, grounded, and clear-headed even when things around us feel uncertain or overwhelming.

This isn’t about tuning out. It’s about building the internal stability to respond instead of react for our health, our families, and the people we serve.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, this episode is a reset.

Absence forms in every moment of our lives.
Some big, some small.

Its reverberation soars across the world.
But first, it echoes within our soul.

Loss, undeniably painful, is a gift.
One we thought should never be given.

Guttural screams and endless tears released from our orifices will never resolve the pain.

Becoming the true release where loss and healing live together in harmony.

What once was, no longer is.
Existence is now emptiness.

A blossom watered by tears of pain and shined upon by rays of memories.

Mourn every loss.
Love every tear.
Those in front patiently await you.

Here's a thought...

👉Thought......when Qi circulation becomes asymmetrical on opposite sides of the body, it effects the body's ability to produce a healing and homeostatic resonance/response.

🤔New Thought......if the human body suffers from a one-sided disorder, does this lead to secondary or internal disorders downstream (while attempting to generate proper balance across each side)? (Effects similar to the results of this video...)

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

In Tai Chi, we don’t force movement.

We settle, listen, and respond when the timing is right.

Today is the final day for early registration for the Tai Chi & Qigong Instructor Programs, including the 50/50 early registration discount.

If this training has been sitting quietly with you, this is simply an invitation to pause and listen.

When the body says “yes,” action feels calm, not rushed.

If you’re not there yet, that’s okay.

Standard registration remains open through January 31.

Thank you to everyone who joined last night’s Tai Chi & Qigong Instructor Training interest meeting.🙏

I appreciate the thoughtful questions, honesty, and curiosity you brought into the space. These conversations are exactly why I host meetings like this. So you can make an informed decision, not a rushed one.

If you’re still reflecting, that’s completely appropriate. This training is meant to be entered with clarity, not urgency.

I’ll be sharing next steps and reminders over the coming days for those who want to continue exploring.

Thank you!!

If you’ve ever thought about teaching Tai Chi or Qigong—but weren’t sure what that actually involves—I’m hosting a relaxed interest meeting tonight.

This is not a sales call.
No pressure. No commitment.

It’s simply a chance to:
• Learn what instructor training really looks like
• Understand who this program is (and isn’t) for
• Ask honest questions
• See if the February 2026 training feels aligned for you

This is especially for women and practitioners who already practice and feel that quiet pull toward teaching, but don’t feel “ready” yet.
Curiosity is enough.

🗓 Tonight: Jan 12 @ 630PM
📍 Online: Google Meet
