Today is World Cancer Day. 🤍
I don’t share my cancer story often - not because it isn’t important, but because it’s deeply mine.
What I will say is this: surviving cancer changes your relationship with your body, your time, and your energy. You learn to listen differently. To rest without apology. To honor what your nervous system and spirit need - not just what the world expects.
Being a cancer survivor taught me something that continues to shape the way I hold space for others:
our bodies are always communicating with us.
Healing isn’t about “getting back to normal.”
It’s about learning how to feel safe in your body again - to trust it, to support it, to meet it with compassion instead of pressure.
This lived experience is why the way I hold space has never been about fixing, forcing, or rushing healing.
It’s about safety, choice, and listening to what the body is ready for.
Today, I’m holding space for everyone walking this path - past, present, and ongoing.
If this day brings anything up for you, know you’re not alone. 🤍
