New Years Bliss in Tulum with Siri Om Yoga, where the rhythm of your breath meets the serenity of the Caribbean Sea. Whether you seek deep relaxation or an invigorating challenge, Siri Om Yoga Retreats offer a sanctuary for self-discovery and wellness.

Choose from a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Bikram, Yoga Sculpt, and Yin Yoga, guided by our very own yoga expert, Siri Om. Between sessions, relax at the beach, explore the vibrant city, or unwind with organic meals infused with local Mexican cuisine flavors.

We will be at the Villa Elements, an all inclusive villa in the heart of Tulum minutes away from the Caribbean Sea, a space designed to inspire tranquility and connection.

There's something so calming about practicing yoga with the sound of rain tapping against the window. It creates a tranquil atmosphere that helps you drop into your body, focus on your breath, and find a deeper sense of peace.

Roll out your mat, take a calming breath, and let the outside world melt away. This is your time to slow down, stretch out, and find stillness within.

Śalabhāsana | Locust Pose (26&2 Method) 🦗 A dynamic spine-strengthening posture performed in three stages, each lifting different parts of the body to isolate and activate core, back, and upper body strength.

🔥 Purpose: • Strengthens the lower, middle, and upper back • Improves spinal flexibility and posture • Stimulates abdominal organs and digestion • Builds resilience through controlled effort

🧘‍♂️ Sequence Highlights:
Arms under body, palms down - prioritize straight arms, flush against floor.

Right leg lift, then left leg lift - isolated engagement

Both legs lift together - full activation of glutes, hamstrings, and lower back

💡 Tips: keep chin forward and shoulders relaxed. The compression may feel intense, but the benefits are profound.
- Don’t worry about height, focus on activation and alignment.
- Use breath to support effort: inhale to lift, exhale to release.
- If the arms under the body feel too intense, keep them beside you for now.

The opening act of the 26&2 sequence, Pranayama Deep Breathing. Here, we practice the conscious regulation of breath or, more specifically, prana the life force energy. Rooted in yogic and Ayurvedic traditions, it’s considered the fourth limb of yoga and a gateway to mental clarity, emotional balance, and energetic alignment   🌬️

Pranayama involves three stages:

Puraka – Inhalation
Kumbhaka – Retention
Rechaka – Exhalation

🧠 Deep breathing through pranayama can:

- Calm the nervous system and reduce stress
- Improve oxygenation 
- Balance the endocrine system and regulate hormones
- Enhance focus, emotional resilience, and inner stillness

Dandayamana Bibhaktapada Paschimotthanasana, we know...it's a mouthful to say. Standing Separate Leg Stretching Pose! You will find this pose in our 26&2 sequence. We aim to stretch and strengthen the legs, spine, and hips, while also helping the mind become calm with a focus on breathing. Practice with us and improve your flexibility, particularly in the hamstrings and lower back.
