We're excited to share an update on Juliet, one of our wonderful patients you've met before (along with her supportive dad).

Thanks to her exceptional dedication to wearing her custom Rigo Cheneau style brace and the effective growth-guided correction it provides, Juliet is now transitioning from full-time bracing to nighttime bracing only! This is a significant step forward and speaks volumes about her commitment and consistent wear time.

We are so incredibly proud of Juliette's perseverance.

Just a friendly reminder: wear your brace! Every hour counts on your journey to a healthier spine. You've got this! 💪

✨ Meet Lola ✨
Lola is 11 now, but her scoliosis journey began at just 4 years old. After a head injury, her mom noticed she was still in pain and there was a bulge in her back. An X-ray revealed a 45° scoliosis curve, and an MRI uncovered the underlying cause: Chiari malformation.

Lola underwent Chiari surgery because scoliosis caused by Chiari won’t respond to treatment as well unless the Chiari is addressed. Once that was resolved, bracing became significantly more effective — giving her growth-guided correction and reducing her curve to 28° today.

Her advice to others: Listen to your body and wear your brace. 💚

✨ Meet Faith! ✨
At just 11 years old, Faith has already been bracing for 6 years — and she doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. Dance, basketball, volleyball, horseback riding, gymnastics, track… she does it all! 💪

Faith’s scoliosis was discovered during genetic testing for another health concern, but looking back, it was even visible on an X-ray from when she had RSV as a toddler. Just another reminder that scoliosis can sometimes be spotted incidentally — and why awareness matters.

You've been diagnosed with scoliosis, but what exactly is it? It's a three-dimensional spinal condition involving more than just a sideways curve. While the spine curves to the side in a "C" or "S" shape, the vertebrae also rotate. This rotation is what makes the condition complex and can cause one side of the rib cage to appear more prominent. The good news is that with early detection and the right treatment plan, it can be managed effectively.
