Huge congratulations to Leda, one of our amazing out-of-town patients from New York! 🍎 Leda started bracing at age 11 with curves in the 30s. Now, at 13, thanks to her dedication and her custom Rigo Cheneau brace, her curves are holding strong at 19 degrees!

She is now gradually transitioning to nighttime-only bracing for the next six months—a massive milestone! We are so proud of her strength and resilience. Keep crushing it, Leda!

Big smiles and a job well done for Ben, who's here getting fitted for his new brace!

One of Ben's favorite parts of the process? Working directly with our Orthotist, Walter, in the lab to add those crucial finishing touches to his brace. 🙌

We believe that when patients like Ben have a hand in creating their brace, it builds a sense of ownership and pride – and that makes all the difference in weartime! It's not just a brace; it's his brace, crafted with care and a bit of his own personal touch.

We often update braces to accommodate a child's growth and maintain effective treatment. Isabella is a true joy to have visit the Center, and we are so proud of her continued dedication.

"Bent but not Broken." 💚

That is what the friendship bracelet said that Becca (13) handed to Scarlett (12) in our waiting room—and just like that, a beautiful friendship began.

This is the side of scoliosis care we love the most. Becca traveled to us all the way from Arkansas for her very first brace. Scarlett, visiting from Pennsylvania, was here for her third Rigo Cheneau brace (growing kids mean new braces!).

While they were at different stages of their journey, they found common ground right here in our office. And it wasn’t just the girls—their moms became fast friends, too! 👯‍♀️ Since our out-of-town patients typically stay for two days to ensure a perfect fit, the families took advantage of the downtime to grab dinner, swap stories, and lean on each other for support.

By Day 2, while Orthotists Luke and Walter were busy putting the finishing touches on their braces, Becca and Scarlett were busy battling it out at the ping pong table. 🏓

They both headed home with new braces, a new support system, and—of course—a stop at @‌duckdonuts on the way out. 🍩✈️

We are honored to be the place where these connections happen. Safe travels, ladies!

Our patients are truly the sweetest! 💚

A massive thank you to Evan for surprising our Baltimore team with delicious snacks and—most importantly—a brand new toy for Jackson! 🐾🦴

The treats are fueling our staff for a busy day of bracing, but as you can see in the photos, Jackson is definitely the most excited about this special delivery. It is thoughtful gestures like this that remind us how amazing our NSC family really is.

Meet 13-year-old Graham, who is rocking her scoliosis journey! Diagnosed at 11, she initially wore her brace just at night. When her curve progressed and she transitioned to full-time bracing, Graham faced it with an amazing attitude!

She proves that bracing doesn't stop you from doing what you love! Graham is still fully active in swimming, diving, gymnastics, and art. 🏊‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Her advice to others: "Don't skip whole days of wearing your brace. When you have extra time—wear it!" We couldn't agree more! Keep inspiring us, Graham!

Lucy's mom, who has mild scoliosis, knew the importance of regular pediatric checks. This early vigilance allowed us to start treatment immediately!
