Through this partnership, Augustinian students will gain access to global learning experiences that transcend borders. Students will receive hands-on training in telehealth and virtual assistance, including the use of electronic health records and other technologies. PCUSA’s BPO offices in Bacolod City and Roxas City will serve as simulation laboratories for telehealth and virtual care, preparing students for real-world practice.
Students will also have the chance to immerse themselves in the U.S. healthcare system, observing care in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and home-based care. These opportunities will enhance both their technical skills and cultural competence.
“This partnership reflects our vision of building bridges across continents and preparing students to thrive in an interconnected healthcare environment,” said Edgardo Arbolado, Jr., Founder and CEO of PCUSA.
Dr. Helen Salgado of CSA-B added that the collaboration will open doors for Augustinian students to become globally competitive healthcare professionals, ready to meet the evolving needs of patients worldwide.
With headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia, a branch in Rockville, Maryland, and world-class BPO operations in the Philippines, PCUSA is uniquely positioned to connect education and healthcare delivery across borders.
