Hot flashes during prostate cancer treatment can be overwhelming — but support is here.
Inova Peterson Life with Cancer is partnering with the Genitourinary Oncology Program on an important research study to help men find relief.

The MPOWER Study (Men with Prostate Cancer – Optimizing Wellness through Enhanced Relief from Hot Flashes) is exploring whether acupuncture can reduce hot flashes for men receiving ADT hormone therapy.

This study is about helping men feel better — physically and emotionally — while navigating prostate cancer treatment.

We offer a variety of programs and services for patients, survivors, and their family members to help individuals cope with cancer, its treatments, and survivorship in the best possible way.

Free: All programs and services are at no cost (except massage and psychiatry).
