Cluster pumping and power pumping can both support milk supply—but they’re not the same. 🤍

Power pumping is a structured pump/rest session over about an hour. Cluster pumping is shorter, more frequent pumps over a few hours, similar to baby cluster feeding.

Cluster pumping may work faster, while power pumping can feel easier to manage. Whichever you choose, pumping should feel comfortable and your flanges should fit well.

If feeding feels harder than you expected, you’re not alone. 🤍

Sometimes the answer isn’t more milk. Sometimes it’s more support.

If feeding feels stressful, uncomfortable, or confusing, Milk in Motion is here to help it feel calmer, safer, and more connected.

A little support can change everything.

On International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating women—and also naming what women deserve: real support.

If someone you love is feeding a baby, here are a few meaningful ways to show up:
 • Bring a meal and refill her water • Tidy up before she has to ask • Ask, How can I help? and follow through • Protect her from unhelpful comments • Hold the baby so she can shower, rest, or just take a breath

Moms were never meant to do this alone. 💜

Heart Month reminder 💗 Feeding pressure is real—and it can effect your mental health in ways no one talks about enough.

If every ounce feels like a test… if you dread pumping/feeds… if you’re doing everything and still worried… you’re not alone.

Your mental health belongs in the feeding plan. A plan that “works” but leaves you anxious, depleted, or spiraling isn’t sustainable—and you don’t have to earn support by suffering.

Gentle reminders:
💗 Output is data, not a grade
💗 Combo feeding is a tool—not failure
💗 Bonding doesn’t require burnout

Comment 💗 or DM “HEART” and we’ll help you build a plan that actually feels sustainable.

Babywearing in winter can be cozy and safe with a few simple tweaks ❄️🧣 Here’s a practical guide to staying warm while keeping baby safe:

1. Layer yourself first 🧥🔥

When baby is in a carrier, your body heat acts like a heater. Start with your own base layer + warm outer layer.

2. Choose thin + warm layers for baby 🧸🧦

Instead of a snowsuit, think breathable layers:
 • Base: long sleeve bodysuit or sleeper
 • Bottom: footless pants + socks/booties
 • Hat: should cover ears

3. Avoid bulky coats/snowsuits inside the carrier 🚫🧥

A snug carrier fit supports baby properly. Puffy layers can prevent a secure fit and can trap too much heat.

4. Coat strategy that actually works 🧥✅

 Options:
 • Wear your coat unzipped/open and babywear under it with a babywearing cover
 • Use a zip-in babywearing panel (super convenient)
 • Get a babywearing coat

5. Airway + positioning safety check 🌬️✅
 • Baby’s face visible at all times
 • Chin off chest
 • Nose and mouth uncovered
 • Baby close enough to kiss

Save this for your next cold-weather walk, and share with a new parent who’s trying to get out of the house in winter. 💛🧣
