Join our transformative 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training, certified by Yoga Alliance, and channel that power into teaching, healing, and living with purpose.

The goal of this YTT 200 HR Program is for each student to be able to confidently cue and sequence a 60 minutes yoga class, which you will do as your final exam. The rest of the journey is up to you -- how much time and effort you put into the program, going through the coursework, learning during our in-person sessions & outside of classes, etc.

In the path of yoga, the journey is endless as there is so much to learn. We are lifelong learners. So yes, it's definitely sufficient guidance and you take from it what you need, and keep growing from every experience.

As the holiday season unfolds around us, we want to pause and send each of you our deepest, heartfelt wishes for joy, peace, and light—whatever traditions you hold dear, and however you choose to celebrate (or simply reflect) during season.

2025 was an extremely unpredictable and challenging year for both Isabella & Laura – and we are beyond THANKFUL for your support of our studio throughout the year!

Whether you’re gathering with loved ones, lighting candles, sharing meals, exchange gifts or finding quiet moments of solitude, may this season wrap you in warmth and renewal. 🎅🎄🎁

In the spirit of the practices we share on the mat, we invite us all to carry forward three simple but powerful intentions:

Isabella Gutfreund of HeartnSoulStudio has been teaching yoga for over 16 years. She believes that it is helpful to have an open mind and no particular expectations when beginning your practice: “You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga. Everyone works at their own level.”

Heart N Soul Studio in Fairfax, VA offers small group classes and personalized one-on-one instruction in Ashtanga Style Led Primary, Mysore, Rocket Vinyasa and Power Yoga. We also provide yoga to clients in Oakton, Fairfax City, Vienna, Centreville and Gainesville.
