Community Hospital – Fairfax is thrilled to announce the birth of the 2026 New Year’s Baby! Judah Ryan Nauman was born at 2:12 p.m. on January 6, 2026, to Grant and Kaitlyn Nauman and older brother, Jeremiah (Age 4), of Mound City.

Maternal grandparents are Melissa Livengood and Kyle Livengood, and Ricky Panning; Paternal grandparents are Jamie Nauman and Blake Nauman.

The family was gifted a basket full of items, including a Halo sleep sack, blankets, diapers, wipes, baby toys, bibs, and teething supplies. The CH-F Auxiliary gave a gift certificate and card, and books were donated by the Staten Family of Tarkio.

Our Family Medicine Clinics are seeing many cases of respiratory viruses this winter!

🦠 Symptoms of the flu, RSV, COVID-19, and the common cold are similar and may include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Because these symptoms are similar, it can be difficult to distinguish between illnesses caused by respiratory viruses. To diagnose a potential case, a diagnostic test is the best way to determine the type of infection.

👏🚿 Be sure to wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. (Hot Tip: Singing the happy birthday song twice is about 20 seconds.)
