As a psychiatrist and a parent, I’ve witnessed the incredible journey of young athletes in individual sports. Raising athletes like the fencers in this picture teaches us invaluable lessons about life and mental health.

🀺 Discipline and Self-Care: Training teaches them the discipline to take care of their bodies to prevent injuries. It's not just about physical health, but emotional wellness too.

🎯 Practice and Preparation: Just like in therapy, practice leads to progress. Every drill, every sparring match is preparation for the big tournaments.
