Calming Renewal is looking to add Licensed Massage Therapists to the team who are looking to build their own client base and grow as Massage Therapists. We are open 7 days a week. You are encouraged to set your own schedule!

Calming Renewal is focused on healing the body, mind and spirit using massage therapy modalities including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone Massage, combined with Essential Oils. You could also try Reiki which is a form of energy healing. It is not uncommon for you to feel “off” when one or more energy centers are not functioning at their fullest. Calming Renewal connects you to the best you that is possible. Each session is tailored to the client, since everyone has their own special needs to create a unique experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Be able to provide Swedish and Deep Tissue services up to 2 hours in length.
Explain to clients our services and help them choose the types of massages that would best fit their needs
Be able to take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions
Design sessions around clients’ specific complaints or problem areas, or their desire for relaxation.
Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique to meet their needs
Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions
Qualifications and Skills

We welcome massage therapist's who are just out of school, or those who have years of experience
Reliable transportation required
Excellent customer service, hospitality and sales skills

Qualifications:

Current and valid Virginia state license for massage therapy
Current and valid Fairfax City Permit(or willing to get one).
Current and valid Massage insurance.
