Relay Team Allendale County Hospital, including our hospitalist Dr Boutros, was pleased to join so many of our area Survivors, many our dearest patients, at the Relay for Life Luncheon held Sunday April 26th. The group was welcomed by Hospital Board Member Artheen Fitts, Team ACH Relay Committee member Amanda Badger helped people sign in and served lunch plates while Team Captain for ACH our Patient Services Coordinator served as the event Speaker. Team ACH thanks Relay for Life Allendale for including us in this special day.

The Guest Speaker is Unifi Health, The Savannah River Site Department of Health Services, along with the hospital’s PSC.

We want to keep our community informed that renovations in our Emergency Room (ER) will be starting on May 4, 2026. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to provide a safer, more efficient, and more comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

During this time, you may notice some temporary changes, including construction activity, adjusted entrances, or minor delays. Please know that our team is working hard to minimize any disruptions while continuing to deliver the high-quality care you expect and deserve.

A huge THANK YOU to Allendale County’s SCFB Young Farmers & Ranchers for their donation today supporting the new Nourish Program at Allendale County Hospital and Outpatient Pharmacy! 💚
In partnership with The Good Fruit Foundation and Golden Harvest Food Bank, this program is sharing how community-driven kindness is transforming rural health with Whole Person Health Care, fostering a lasting, community-centered approach to wellness.
Open to ALL in the community, the new Nourish boxes are filled with heart-healthy choices in whole grains, fruits and proteins as part of the local Food is Medicine initiative. Together, as we work in community, for our community, we’re reframing leading chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, proving that remission and disease reversal can be possible with healthy lifestyle choices.
This donation is more than just food—it’s a step toward a healthy harvest of hope and sustainable health for all, with better outcomes, and a brighter future for our neighbors, especially our neighbors experiencing hunger. 🌱

Harvest for All is a partnership between the SCFB Young Farmers & Ranchers program and local food charities, which provide food to people in need around the state. Over 800,000 people in South Carolina are food insecure, meaning they live at risk of hunger, and nearly 300,000 of those people are children. Each year, County Farm Bureaus are encouraged to organize projects/activities that help bridge the food gap
