The Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS), formerly the Minority Association of Premedical Students, is an organization that motivates, encourages and prepares students to become competitive applicants for medical school or other health field programs. MAPS was originally founded at GMU in the Fall of 2012 and has just recently been re-established starting Fall of 2015. As an org

anization we have gathered and motivated students interested in medicine to pursue their desired professions. MAPS encourages students to network and seek experiences necessary to succeed in the healthcare field. In addition to our monthly meetings, we have speakers, resume clinics, and the opportunity to attend health conferences around the DC Area and nationwide.
