Friends, join us for our third annual Autism Acceptance/Appreciation WOD on Saturday the 18th!!

will be on-site selling their amazing chocolate and pastries. If you are unfamiliar with Cameron’s, they are one of the few small businesses in the area that employees people with neurodevelopmental disabilities. They are an amazing organization that actively celebrates neurodiversity and provides great job opportunities for our community.

ALL are welcome to come join us for our daily workout at 8 AM, 10 AM and 11 AM. In lieu of a drop in fee, we ask that you support Camerons by either purchasing some of their goods or simply by donating on site.

😩The sad truth is…people quit!
People often ask what the hardest part about running a CrossFit gym is… The answer is simple . We don’t have control over anyone’s internal motivation. And that means having to see people defeat themselves and give up. It absolutely pains me.

People realize quickly CrossFit is hard.
It’s uncomfortable and it exposes you.
It doesn’t give a crap about your ego.

You can’t hide out in a class
You can’t fake it, and there is no way to outsource effort.

it may be novel at first… New gear, new things you haven’t tried, new challenges

😳 then it gets real FAST!

you miss a class, then a couple… Paired with the difficulty, you start negotiating…

“ I’m busy”
“ I’ll come back when life comes down”
“ my knee is sore so it’s not healthy for me to go into the gym”
And just like that… People disappear.
Unfortunately, their BS excuses only sound good to them in their own brains

People don’t quit because CrossFit doesn’t work.
They quit because it does

It shows them exactly where they are…
and while that is absolutely a positive thing, it also highlights that they are out of practice, out of discipline, and out of doing something consistently positive for themselves.

And hell, it feels way more comfortable to lean on being busy or sore than it does to stare at the truth.

And let’s face it, some people just don’t like being revealed.

And the ones who do stay?
They build something that most people won’t.

Confidence. Character. Grit.
A better life. Period.

THAT is the real difference.

When you come and go in 90 days, nobody wins.

📚At the end of the session, you will receive individualized homework with exercises to continue your development on your own! Sessions will last between 90 - 120 minutes.

Do you know what we absolutely love about our community??
They are ACTION TAKERS!! 💪🏼

We talk to too many people who reach out to us (yes, they initiate the contact, we aren’t stalking them) who swear up and down that they want to make a change.

👉🏻 they go to our website
👉🏻 they fill out forms and initiate contact because they need help
👉🏻 they raise their hand and say “I want to make a change”

Then, the most disheartening thing happens, they get in their own way, and we hear the same freaking excuses :

😡 I don’t have the time to work out
😡 it’s too expensive
😡 I need to get in shape first

Let’s be honest here.
-time isn’t the problem, your level of commitment is. Yes, you have to invest time in making change and that might mean a sacrifice somewhere along the line.

-money isn’t the problem. Yes, it requires a financial investment, but if you look at it as an expense or a hardship, you are already in the wrong mindset. On top of that, most people who tell us that climb out of their BMW, spill their $10 macchiato and put their $700 iPhone in their pocket while telling us it’s too expensive 🙄
-and not in shape enough to start? That’s the whole reason you reached out.

🛑 STOP lying to yourself and for the love of God, stop lying to me!
everyone, and I mean EVERYONE can do what we do here… You just have to get out of your own way !

we are here to help you accomplish something that you haven’t been able to accomplish on your own, so commit to the change and we can do it together !

December 21, 2015 — the deadliest day in OSI history. On this date, four OSI Special Agents and two Security Forces Defenders from AFOSI Expeditionary Detachment 2405/Task Force Crimson, call sign “Hustler 6” - SA (Maj) Adrianna Vorderbruggen, SA (SSgt) Chester McBride, SA (SSgt) Peter Taub, SA (SSgt) Michael Cinco, TSgt Joseph Lemm and SSgt Louis Bonacasa - were killed when a su***de bomber on a motorcycle drove into their foot patrol in a village outside of Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. TSgt Lemm and SSgt Bonacasa, members of the OSI Agents’ Tactical Security Element, were posthumously given honorary Special Agent status.
