FFB EMS was started in 1974 by the "original eleven" Lucia Hale, RN; Denny Jensen, EMT; Carter Johnson; John Schenkel; K.C. Johnson; Abolena Peques, LPN; Edna Ozmun; Lynn Riggs Manley; Maria Conway; Bernice Crawford; and Mrs. Gorden Hamilton, the first instructor from the State Health Department.

Most of you probably already know this, but we have the most amazing community. Fairfield Bay EMS held a community appreciation Fish Fry today at Lions Club/Chamber Of Commerce. Here are a few of the stats from the event:
We served over 250 people
52 pounds of fish
44 pounds of potato salad
50 pounds of baked beans
100 cookies
2 sheets of brownies
40 cupcakes

And received donations in the amount of $1,568.00

Thank you to everyone that made this happen;
Tim Hallett, Robbie Jones and Clet Davis for catching and frying the fish
The EMST for providing all the sides
Jackie Sikes for allowing us to use the chamber building.
Dan Feuer and the Lake Area Weekly for the live stream
The GadFly ( Jim Lites) for the live coverage
All the volunteers that helped serve
And especially for our great community for showing your LOVE!
