RehabVisions adopted a classroom at Pence Elementary-Fairfield, IA, partnering with Mrs. Ashley Godwin’s third-grade class! 💙

Therapists Lili, Zach and Paige visited and led a fun, hands-on (and delicious!) no-bake project with 21 students: making healthy protein balls from scratch. Along the way, the kids practiced real-life skills like reading a recipe, measuring ingredients, and following step-by-step directions.

The best part? Seeing the pride on the children's faces when they got to taste what they made!

𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Program director, Asha Sharma and 8 students from the 12th grade class visited with Paige Blazina, Occupational Therapist and Lili Wells, PT/Clinic Manager.

The students enjoyed the tour of our clinic. They also spent some time learning about the musculoskeletal system, and how to prevent common upper extremity injuries.

We loved hosting these students which is part of Maharishi School's program, to provide an informative, fun, and safe environment for educational opportunities outside of the classroom.
