The very first lover of my soul and life
She helps carry the burdens and deliver from strife
Made to nurture, sooth, and inform
From the very beginning, life she adorned.

For the Mother may be the carrier from the womb
Or maybe she's the addition added and made new.
An influencer of destiny, power, and virtue.
With her essence, she gives gentleness and love,
Sometimes, there is a firm correction and guidance from above.

May she always know the appreciation we feel
While we may not show it, she protects while we heal.
A gardener, a harvester, and fertilizer of our growth
She instills the ingredients to ensure we always know
There is purpose within us and light we allow to glow.
