Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a progressive disease, but how it progresses and how it affects daily life vary from person to person.
Some experience gradual changes in central vision, like blurring or wavy lines. Others may notice more significant shifts over time. What matters at every stage is staying informed, maintaining regular eye care, and supporting research that continues to advance treatments for AMD.
This February, in honor of AMD & Low Vision Awareness Month, learn about AMD and how research is helping people at every point in their journey: www.FightingBlindness.org/diseases/age-related-macular-degeneration
