🏋🏼‍♀️💀 Deadly Barbell April 18th 💀🏋🏻‍♂️

🏋🏻The Deadly Barbell is a strength-focused competition format within the larger Deadly Dozen fitness racing system. Athletes have 60 minutes to establish a 2-rep max (2RM) on six different classic barbell lifts.

🏋🏻‍♂️The goal is to achieve the highest combined total weight across all six lifts. Each athlete receives a total score (sum of all six 2RMs) and a relative score (total score divided by bodyweight).

🏋🏼‍♀️Results are then posted to a global leaderboard, allowing lifters worldwide to compare their performance.

The Six Lifts
Athletes can choose variations for some of the lifts to make the event accessible to different skill levels and equipment availability.

1.Sn**ch: Muscle, power, or squat sn**ch.

2.Clean & Jerk: Any combination of a muscle, power, or squat clean, followed by a push, power, split, or squat jerk, push press, or strict press.

3.Deadlift: Conventional or sumo stance.

4.Strict Press: A strict shoulder-to-overhead press with no leg drive.

5.Squat: Back or front squat.

6 Bench Press: Flat bench press.

🏋🏻‍♂️The event emphasizes managing your own strategy and loading your own bar within the 60-minute time cap.

After five years of partnership, hosting events, and promoting the DEKA brand. As a small business, our paths no longer ethically align.
