Today, we recognize Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day and celebrate the dietitians who play an essential role in the care we provide across our centers.

Our dietitians work closely with care teams to coordinate meals that nourish both mind and body, while also delivering great taste. They thoughtfully consider individual dietary needs, preferences, and health goals to ensure each resident receives personalized nutrition that supports overall well-being.

We are grateful for their expertise, collaboration, and commitment to supporting health through balanced, resident-centered nutrition every day. To learn more about our care approach and the professionals who support it, visit nhca.com.

Sunday was extra special in the very best way. 💃

The talented dancers from CT Dance Studio in Monroe spent their afternoon performing for our residents, families, and staff, filling the room with music, movement, and so many smiles. From the first step to the final bow, the energy was contagious and the joy was undeniable. It was a beautiful reminder of how powerful the arts can be in bringing generations together.

A heartfelt thank you to Andrea and Leighann for coordinating such a wonderful event and making it all possible. We are so grateful for the time, heart, and talent shared with our community.

This month, we proudly recognize and celebrate the incredible social workers who play such a vital role at National’s facilities every day. Social workers are at the heart of resident-centered care — providing emotional support, advocating for resident needs, guiding care planning, and helping residents and families navigate important transitions.

Their work brings comfort during times of adjustment, clarity during complex decisions, and reassurance when it’s needed most. Through compassion, empathy, and dedication, they help foster trust, connection, and overall well-being for those we serve.

We are truly grateful for the difference our social workers make in the lives of our residents and their loved ones.

Kindness is at the heart of everything we do. Sheila Johnson, Director of Nursing at Bethel Health Care Center, shares how small, thoughtful moments—like remembering a resident’s favorite blanket or how they take their coffee—make a big difference.

By bringing smiles to those around them, our team embodies kindness every day, helping our centers truly feel like home.

Winter can affect more than just the weather. Shorter days and reduced sunlight can impact mood and energy, particularly for individuals experiencing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

At our centers, we take a comprehensive approach to resident well-being. By fostering social connection, promoting physical activity, providing balanced nutrition, and creating bright, supportive environments, we help residents maintain wellness for both mind and body.

Our team was excited to be on campus at Quinnipiac University yesterday for their Career Fair.

Our Director of HR had a wonderful time connecting with students, sharing opportunities at our center, and talking about what it truly means to build a career in healthcare. There’s nothing better than meeting passionate future professionals who are ready to make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello—we loved the conversations and the energy in the room!
