Last week at AWHONN, we had the privilege of connecting with incredible healthcare professionals and answering some of the most common questions about Certascan.

One question we heard often:
“Does the scanner use radiation or pose any risk to the baby or mother?”
The answer is no. Certascan’s scanner does not use radiation of any kind. The green light you see simply lets hospital staff know the scanner is on — it is completely safe, non-invasive, and harmless to both the newborn and mother.
