Forgot to post this earlier this week, but a big congratulations to Brenna for winning this year’s Pumpkin Bar contest and $50 Hy-vee gift card! We had many delicious entries and I’m beginning to think it may be actually impossible to make a bad pumpkin bar. Thanks to all those who entered the contest and expanded our waistlines. We’ll do it again next year so practice up!

Well, now that October is upon us, you know what that means. It is officially Pumpkin Bar Season! We are glad to announce our 2nd annual pumpkin bar contest. If you think you've got an award winning recipe, we'll be awarding a $50 Hy-vee gift card again to this year's winner. So, feel free to bring your samples to our clinic and let our culinary experts put it to the ultimate taste-test.

After much deliberation, repeated taste testing, and several spikes in blood sugar, we officially have a winner of our pumpkin bar contest. In a close contest, and nearly 3-way tie, Lani Boyd has taken the top spot to take home the $50 Hy-vee gift card! Congratulations Lani and thanks to all those who participated! We think this contest should become an annual tradition! 🎃 🧁

If you think you’ve got what it takes to grab the top spot, feel free to bring bars to the clinic anytime during working hours. Judged by our staff, of course. All entries due by October 31st.
