Our Story

Karina Andre, LPC, LADC, Private Practice Psychotherapist.

Welcome! I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. Many people seek it out not because of their psychological problems, but more so to help them reach their goals, achieve personal growth, and improve their self-care. I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed alcohol & drug counselor.

I have over 10 years of experience in doing psychotherapy. I've had extensive training in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, stress, and addictive disorders. I develop an individualized treatment plan for each of my clients, understanding each person's unique needs. My treatment philosophy emphasizes: empathy, acceptance, and non-judgmental approach.

I typically use CBT, MI, EMDR, Solution-focused, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients overcome negative emotions and difficult life experiences. I also use other modalities as appropriate. I teach as an adjunct instructor at HCC.
