Aside from low Potassium, everything else came back great! Cam doesn’t have to go back for 6 months- which is the longest she’s been able to go so far! And NO MORE SCANS, unless she is having symptoms again. She is also done with all of her clinical trial stuff, as well! Can’t believe it’s been 2 years since her initial diagnosis. So grateful she has remained in remission ♥️

Just saw the neurosurgeon due to Camryn’s upper back pain. They confirmed the compression fracture of her T2 vertebrae (from her previous tumor)and basically said it will never get better and it will always be like that. The fracture has caused somewhat of a “collapse” in her vertebrae and they are “sandwiched together” but as long as it doesn’t get any worse, they aren’t too concerned. Her pain has gotten better since she stopped working (her oncologist gave her work restrictions and her job could not accommodate those restrictions). If she feels any pain returning, she can do physical therapy or wear a brace. So she will not be able to do any jobs that are physically demanding or anything that requires her to be on her feet for 8 hours. We are relieved that she will not need any type of surgery or procedures done at this time, but also feel a little defeated as well, because she really liked her job.

No new evidence of disease!!! 🙌🏼 However, she does have a compression deformity of her vertebrae due to her previous fracture. That fracture was from the cancer in her spine. She has been referred to a neurosurgeon and hopefully something can be done to get her some relief. I can’t imagine the pain she goes through on a daily basis, and is still working full time, 5-7 days a week, on her feet! We have talked to her oncologist and she is going to write her some work restrictions to help manage her pain. Thank you for all the continuous thoughts and prayers!!! We appreciate them more than you know! 💜💜💜💜

Here for scans, X-rays and blood work. She’s still been having extreme pain in her upper back/neck. Hoping for good results!!! 🤞🏻🙏🏼 💜

Update following Camryn’s appointment Tuesday: most of her blood work came back fine. Her vitamin D was low and her glucose was low. They will be keeping an eye on that. Also, putting her on a vitamin D supplement. During her visit her heart rate was also very low, so they had to do an EKG. The MA did this right before we left and no one told us anything more about it, so I imagine it’s fine? 🤷‍♀️ Regarding the pain in her neck/spine, they are ordering an X-ray and CT scan and are possibly referring her to a neurosurgeon. They do not think the cancer is back, based on blood work and no lumps or bumps. We will know more after the scans and X-rays. Also her weight went up, from 95 to 99!!! 👏👏👏 Thank you for all the continued prayers and support!!! We love you all! 💜💜💜💜💜

Cam has been having upper back/neck pain- where one of her tumors was at one time. Her vertebrae was actually fractured from that tumor. She is also down to her lowest weight yet. So we are here for bloodwork and a check up! Hoping everything is still looking good! 💜

Happy Daughter’s Day to my beautiful warrior! Last year on this day, we were at U of M getting PET scans. Today, you are working at your new full time job!!! I am so proud of you and all of your accomplishments!!! Forever my babydoll! 💜
