This season brings us all so many emotions. For some, it is pure joy, while for others a mix of feelings. Over the years our bodies and minds collect imprints of events that shape our perception of this busy season. The days can seem shorter and stressors can become more pronounced. At times we might unknowingly become triggered for one reason or another finding ourselves in fight, flight or freeze as the amygdala reverts back to primitive reactions. Maybe we become closed off or overextend ourselves trying to show worthiness or meet an expectation.
It's important to take some space for ourselves. To set boundaries. To show ourselves love and forgiveness. To slow down. To just be.
I'm extending an invitation to all who would like to experience a heart opening sound meditation. This will be a free session on Tuesday, December 23rd from 7:45pm to 8:30pm. Bring a mat, pillow & blanket if you'd like (we have blankets at the studio) along with an open mind. If you'd like to bring a photo or relic to support your intention, feel free. Please message me with any questions you may have.
My intention is to lighten the season and open your heart space a bit more.
