About Us

Active Day of Fairhaven provides a coordinated program of services for seniors and cognitively impaired adults in a community-based group setting. These types of services are available to adults who need assistance or supervision in a safe environment outside of the home during the day. We operate seven days per week, providing on site prepared meals, social and recreational activities, as well as various health-related services (such as but not limited to) checking vital signs and medication administration. Our services include socialization and recreational type activities, as well as focusing on skilled assessment, treatment and rehabilitation goals.

Active Day also offers family support. We offer education on topics such as managing difficult or confusing behaviors and safety in the home. We also provide on site physical therapy and help with locating community resources.
