Did you know people with diabetes are more likely to experience hearing loss, especially in the higher frequencies? Research shows diabetes can nearly double the risk, and the changes often appear earlier than many expect. Over time, high blood sugar can affect the delicate nerves and blood vessels in the inner ear, making it harder to hear clearly. The good news is that regular hearing checks can help catch changes early and keep you connected to the sounds you love. If you have diabetes, taking care of your hearing is just as important as managing your overall health. Schedule a hearing test with us today and take an important step toward protecting both your hearing and your quality of life.

Hearing loss that begins from birth through age three can have a lasting impact on a child’s development. During these early years, children are learning how to understand sounds, form words, and build the foundation for language. When hearing is affected, it can delay speech and language skills, which may lead to challenges in learning, social interactions, and even confidence later in life.

Early identification and treatment make a powerful difference, helping children develop the skills they need to communicate clearly and thrive in school and beyond. If you suspect your child may be having trouble hearing, do not wait to get help.

Contact us today and let us provide the care and support your child needs to grow, learn, and reach their full potential.

Got waxy build up? This is always a good reminder that cotton swabs are not the way to clean your ears. They can actually push the wax deeper and even cause damage.

The safest option is to let a professional handle it, and we are here to do that for you. If you cannot make it in right away, there are safe steps you can try at home. A warm, damp washcloth works well for gently cleaning the outside of your ear. Over the counter ear drops can help soften wax, and a bulb syringe can be used to rinse the ear if you do not have a history of ear surgery, ear tubes, or a perforated eardrum.

Keeping your ears clean and healthy is an important part of protecting your hearing, and we are here to guide you every step of the way. Schedule a visit with us and give your ears the safe care they deserve.
