What a gift Colleen has been in my life and throughout this pregnancy, birth and postpartum!! Patrick’s birth story is one I’ll cherish forever! It was my first unmedicated and home birth. He was born in the water after a short but hard labor! This pregnancy and birth has taught me so much but most importantly how to trust in God’s plan. It took daily surrender to entrust myself and Patrick to him. As labor hit a point where I wanted to give up- I asked Jack to pray because I was “done”. As he began to pray it was a dramatic shift and Patrick was ready to come. It was such a testament that I cannot do this on my own. I am so grateful for this experience and for the team I had by my side💚💙
