Peter Zloty, M.D. - Cataract & Refractive Surgeon, Cornea Specialist
Dr. Peter Zloty iCorneal Transplants, Refractive Surgery and Cataracts. He is also fellowship-trained in the treatment of Corneal & External Disease and has significant experience in performing surgical procedures, such as corneal transplants and lamellar techniques, including DSAEK, DMEK and DALK. Ophthalmology patients are very satisfied with Dr. Zloty; he has a five-star rating on both Healthgrades.com and Betterdoctor.com. After graduating as a proud POET from Sidney Lanier High School, Dr. Wilder went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Alabama in 2000. He then acquired his Doctorate of Optometry from the University Of Alabama Birmingham School Of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Wilder then moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the capital of the Cherokee Nation, to further his studies and completed a residency program in Family Practice Optometry in 2005. Dr. Wilder specializes in primary eye care and contact lens fittings at Southern Eye Group . Gross, M.D. Dr. Gross, a board-certified ophthalmologist, specializes in treating patients for glaucoma. Dr. Gross’s areas of special interests include glaucoma consultation and treatment, including surgery, eye disease screening, and population health. Paul McDaniel, D.O. As a board-certified ophthalmologist and osteopathic physician, Dr. Paul McDaniel is uniquely qualified to provide a full spectrum of eye care in a patient-centered approach. Dr. McDaniel has expertise in the surgical and medical management of a variety of ocular pathology including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, strabismus, pterygium, refractive surgery and astigmatism correction, cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, and other advanced surgery. Ayesha Kidd, O.D. Kidd OD, FAAO, is a native of Vincent, Alabama located in Shelby County. After graduating as valedictorian of the class of 2000 at Vincent High school, Dr. Kidd matriculated to the University of Montevallo. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a psychology minor. Later, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011. Dr. Kidd is committed to providing quality and comprehensive eye care to a broad range of patients. Courtney Ray, M.D. Dr. Ray is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He graduated from UC Davis where he majored in Biochemistry and completed medical school at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He specializes in surgical and medical eye care with the Southern Eye Group. Donna Corder
Dr. Donna Corder received her M.D. from the Wayne State School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. Her fellowship in Orbit, Oculoplastic, and Reconstructive Surgery was at the Kresge Eye Institute. Dr. Corder is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She founded her own ophthalmology practice in 2009 after working as a comprehensive Ophthalmologist in the Tallahassee and Pensacola, FL areas for over 15 years. As an experienced ophthalmologist, Dr. Corder has a wide array of specialties. Her most common surgeries are functional and cosmetic upper and lower eyelid surgeries. Dr. Corder also treats medical glaucoma and does YAG lasers for secondary cataracts, as well as SLT laser for glaucoma. She evaluates cataract patients and diabetic patients as well. Gayla Rowland, M.D. Originally from Crestview, FL, Dr. Rowland graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University with a B.S. in Physical Science and minors in Biology and Psychology. She then attended medical school, finishing in the top 10%, an internship in Internal Medicine and her residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, FL. She has been practicing comprehensive ophthalmology in the Pensacola area for over 16 years. Dr. Rowland is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the Escambia County Medical Society.
