Say "hello" to Hannah! 👋
Hannah comes to Renew from the University of the Cumberlands where she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Lindsey Wilson University. As an intern at Renew, Hannah is passionate about providing clients with the space and resources to reach their mental health goals in an empathetic and client-centered manner while affirming clients from all different walks of life, providing an atmosphere of grace.
She strongly believes in the model of Jesus, in that he approached others with grace, humility, and empathy, which she intends to bring those same qualities into her sessions with clients. She desires to create a safe space where clients feel valued and empowered to explore their experiences and grow on their own time and with their own goals. Outside of counseling, Hannah enjoys music, which means she often finds herself at concerts. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and cat.
Her areas of treatment include: abuse survivors, adolescent issues, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, boundaries, communication, coping skills, couples, depression, divorce & blended family issues, educational barriers, family issues, female empowerment, grief and loss, life adjustments, marriage, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem, spiritual identity, stress management, trauma, and women issues.
