This Christmas season was especially meaningful for our community ❤️🎄

Cindy Thompson’s mother, Candis Havlik, a former resident of our facility who passed away earlier in 2025, inspired an incredible act of kindness. In her honor, Cindy—along with Jacob—adopted every resident in our nursing facility, ensuring each person had a gift to open on Christmas.

Cindy shared, “I wanted to bring joy to them in honor of my mom.” Through their generosity, our residents felt remembered, celebrated, and deeply loved. The joy they brought into our halls was felt by residents, families, and staff alike.

We are incredibly grateful to Cindy and Jacob for honoring Candis’s memory with such compassion and for reminding us all that love continues through acts of kindness. 💙
