Stew's Crew Spotlight 🌟 Stacey Silvis' first volunteer event was the Butterfly Gala in August 2025; "It was such an amazing event and a great way to kick off my experience volunteering.

I listen to the Second Base Podcast and Sarah Vojtek - the CEO from Stewart's - was featured......it was very inspiring to hear her speak about all of the services and support that the organization provides to individuals and families who are going through the cancer journey and it prompted me to want to learn more about how I could get involved. I received tremendous support from my family and friends during my own cancer journey and really want to pay it forward in some way.

I am a career HR professional who enjoys leading projects and programs that help enhance the employee experience. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, volunteering and cheering on my Ohio State Buckeyes!! I also have two very active Weimaraner puppies who like to go on walks.

The services and programming are top notch and really help individuals and their families in so many different ways - physically, emotionally, financially - by creating a community of support. The team at Stewart's really cares about the mission....and I enjoy meeting new people and being part of the team that is bringing happiness to others. I enjoy volunteering at Stewart's and having the opportunity to bring happiness to those who are going through a challenging time. Have you ever experienced Healing Touch before? Healing Touch practitioners use light touch on or near the body to connect, clear, and balance the energetic system to promote self-healing. New in 2026 is our "Harmony Through Healing Touch" group, guided by certified Healing Touch practitioner Jenny Kelly-Masloski.

✨ Jenny's passion for Healing Touch actually began at Stewart's Caring Place in 2018; while on her own cancer journey, Jenny received Healing Touch and felt less anxiety and side effects when going into her treatment. Soon, she knew she wanted to become a certified practitioner. Jenny completed her certification and began volunteering with us in Fall 2024, stating: "One of my goals was to give back to where my Healing Touch journey began." Jenny is also licensed in speech pathology and teaches children's art classes, alongside having her Healing Touch private practice in Medina.
