*** March is Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness Month ***

Traumatic brain injury results from a violent blow to the head or a whiplash that would cause the brain to be bounced off of the inside of the skull. Additionally, a piece of skull or other object that penetrates the brain may also result in a traumatic brain injury.
