Specialties: Master of Social Work (MSW). Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (AADC). Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certification (TF-CBT). Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Provides individual, group, and family therapy services.

What was your first job? Bagging groceries. First job in Social Work: Providing counseling services for an inpatient substance use disorder treatment facility.

What inspired you to pursue a career in behavioral health? I chose this field to empower others, raise mental health awareness, and reduce the stigma associated with mental health.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? Being able to control Time. Time goes by way too fast.

What is your favorite day trip? Virginia Safari Drive through Zoo.

What is your go-to comfort food? Mexican Fajitas!!

What is a skill or hobby you have outside of work that you are passionate about? Teaching. I am an adjunct instructor of social work at Concord University. I also enjoy working out (weights/running).

What do you enjoy most about your job/role at RMC Behavioral Health? As human beings, I believe we have an obligation to make the world a better place. My role at RMC Behavioral Health gives me the ability to do that.
