Unexpected pain, injuries, and illnesses that are not serious enough for the inconvenience and expense of going to an emergency room can be cared for in the comfort of our new and spacious facility by our friendly and experienced staff. Amenities such as bottled water, coffee, wi-fi, and cable tv are all included to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Fever Quick Guide: When to Visit Patient Care Now Urgent Care

While not all fevers warrant an urgent care visit, come see us if:

✅Your fever is 104°F or higher.
✅It is persistent (lasting more than 3 days) or recurrent (keeps coming back).

The cough and sniffle season is right around the corner, and COVID-19, the flu, and RSV are about to make an onslaught.

With their overlapping symptoms, it can be tough to know what you’re dealing with. Here’s a quick guide to help you spot the differences and know when it’s time to seek care.

🦠 COVID-19 - Symptoms often appear gradually

• Fever or chills
• Cough and sore throat
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Loss of taste or smell (though less common with recent variants)
• Fatigue, muscle aches, headaches
• Can range from mild to severe

🌡️ The Flu (Influenza) - Sudden onset — you feel sick fast

• High fever
• Severe body aches and chills
• Extreme fatigue
• Cough and sore throat
• Headaches are common

😮‍💨 RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) - Symptoms also tend to appear gradually

• Starts like a cold, accompanied by cough and fever.
• Worsens over time, especially in infants and older adults.
• Wheezing or rapid breathing may develop.
• In severe cases: bluish lips, skin, or nail beds and very labored breathing.

All three illnesses can be serious and even life-threatening, especially for infants, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems or chronic health conditions. “I was skeptical about coming here because of the other reviews, but I'm really glad I did. A few days ago, we went to AFC in Newtown, and it was a horrible experience: long wait times and incompetent doctor.

Here, we were seen immediately and left 15 minutes after going back. The doctor actually took the time to talk to us and wanted to make sure they did what they could do to make sure we were comfortable while dealing with the illness. Both locations had about the same number of patients before me, but like I said, people were going in and out of this urgent care so quickly.
