ā€œSitting is the new smoking.ā€ 🚬

You’ve probably heard that before…and while it’s a little dramatic, here’s the part that is true: You can work out every day and still spend most of your life sitting.

And that matters more than people think. Prolonged sedentary behavior is associated with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and increased mortality.

This month, I’m helping you honestly assess your daily activity level—and how to move more without adding more to your plate.

I made a checklist with 50 simple ways to move throughout your day.

I want your opinion on something I’m thinking about…

Would you be interested in a LIVE Zoom workout focused on helping you move better?

This would be a supportive, strength-based session designed to help you feel better in your body — while still feeling like you actually worked.

Think:
Improving your balance
Feeling more stable
Loosening up tight hips and shoulders
Standing taller with better posture
Feeling more in control of your body

It would be mostly bodyweight, using simple things you already have at home.

And this is where I think it’s different…

Whether you’re someone who hasn’t been working out at all and just feels stiff, tight, or ā€œoffā€ OR you’ve been exercising but know your body needs more support, better recovery, or more stability...this would meet you where you are.

If you know me, you know I believe that people don’t need more random workouts; they need to move better so their body actually feels good.

The biggest part…I would be coaching you in real time.

Watching your movement
Giving suggestions
Encouraging you

This would be a small group (limited to 20 people), and you wouldn’t have to worry about being shown in any replay.

Most people think a workout checks the box for the day. But what really matters is how much you’re moving during the other 23 hours.

That’s what we’re focusing on in May inside Lift & Be Uplifted.

We’re breaking down what your day actually looks like—not your workouts, your real life.

šŸ¤”How often are you getting up and moving?
šŸ¤”How does your body feel by the end of the day?

I’m also giving you a simple checklist of 50 ways to move throughout your day—things you can do at home, at work, or wherever you are.

Nothing extreme. Nothing overwhelming.
Just practical ways to move more without needing extra time.

And from there, we start building habits that actually fit your life...so you can create a lifestyle that feels healthy, not forced.
