Physician & Medical Director (Full-Time)
(FQHC) | Outpatient Setting
We are seeking a full-time Physician to join our long-established FQHC in a dual role that combines direct patient care with medical leadership as Medical Director.
This position offers a balanced schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to shape high-quality primary care delivery in a collaborative outpatient environment.
Position Overview
0.6 FTE – Direct Patient Care
0.4 FTE – Medical Director / Administrative Leadership
The role is structured to allow physicians to remain actively engaged in patient care while providing meaningful leadership and oversight of our medical services.
Clinical Responsibilities (3 Days/Week)
Provide direct primary care services in an outpatient setting
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including mid-level practitioners (NPs/PAs), for overall primary care management
Standard clinical schedule: 14 patient visits per 8-hour day
Productivity bonus for days with 15+ patients seen
Medical Director Responsibilities (2 Days/Week)
Medical leadership and administrative oversight
Supervision and support of medical providers and clinical staff
Quality oversight, clinical standards, and performance improvement initiatives
Participation in organizational leadership and strategic planning related to medical services
These responsibilities are non-patient-facing and focused on ensuring excellence in clinical care delivery.
