Some good info on Tech/Text neck. I would have thought that the percentages at the top would be higher. There has been a definite increase in neck, shoulder, upper mid back pain, and the other symptoms mentioned in this graphic in mostly teenagers and adolescents over the years.

It's no surprise to hear that we all spend way too much time staring down at our devices in today's technological age. If you must stare at a device all day, use good posture to take as much strain off your neck, back, and shoulders as possible, and take as frequent breaks possible to stretch.

I get a lot of questions about sleeping position.

I hope everyone is staying warm during this awful cold spell.

Stay warm, eat well, keep your body moving frequently, and sleep well (hopefully in one of the healthy positions below). Oh, and stay well Adjusted! 😄

Hello patients and friends! Winter storm Fern is about to unleash her fury upon us this weekend.

Due to the potential for 12+ inches of snow in our area through Monday morning, I have decided to close the office Monday so everyone can (hopefully) stay home and stay safe!

I will be in the office working on Tuesday to make up for Monday.

I am also open the rest of the day today until 4:30 for anyone who wants a last minute adjustment before this monster of a storm hits! 😁

Hunker down, bundle up, and stay safe this weekend!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you're holiday season is filled with joy, love, and happiness!

The office will be open next week on Monday and Friday during normal hours, and New Year's week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during normal hours.

So give me a call or send me a message to get on the schedule Monday for that pre Holiday Adjustment!

Update on our power situation. It looks like the power company hooked us back up after they replaced the pole in front of the building, so we have power! Full speed ahead! Happy Friday everyone!

The accident in front if the office tonight pulled the power line off our building, so it looks like we won't have power tomorrow. We'll still be seeing patients, but the phones won't be working and we won't be able to take credit card payments.
